Lisha R. McKinley

Lisha R. McKinley, Esq. is an associate at S&D Law. She is a graduate of Taylor University (B.A. Communications Studies, summa cum laude, 2000), and attended University of Denver Sturm College of Law (honors, 2005-2007) before earning her J.D. from University of Colorado Law School (2008). Prior to law school, Ms. McKinley worked extensively in management and human resources positions for major corporations. While pursuing her legal education, Ms. McKinley interned for the International Commission on Missing Persons in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina; the Office of the Attorney General, State of Colorado; and a major aerospace corporation. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Ms. McKinley practiced in a Colorado Springs firm that specialized in litigating business, real estate, and intellectual property disputes; homeowners' association law; and corporate transactions. Ms. McKinley's practice emphasizes commercial litigation with a focus on real estate and business.

Ms. McKinley serves on the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association, the Board of Directors of the Colorado Women's Bar Association, and is a delegate to the American Bar Association.
