Martin D. Beier

Martin D Beier - Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Lawyer Martin D. Beier, Esq. is a Director at S&D Law. He graduated from the University of California, Riverside (B.A., summa cum laude, 1987) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1990),where he was an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He served for two years as judicial clerk for Chief Judge William J. Holloway, Jr., United States Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit. He regularly speaks on landlord-tenant and civil litigation topics throughout the Denver-Boulder-Greeley metropolitan areas. He is also a presenter for the Our Courts program of the Colorado Bar Association, an active volunteer in the Metro Volunteer Lawyers Program and for Weld County Legal Services, which provide legal assistance to indigent clients.

For six years, he served on the Board of Directors for Colorado CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), as Board Chair and chairman of various board committees. Earlier in his career, he was appointed to assist indigent criminal defendants under the Criminal Justice Act, and served as appointed counsel for a Texas death row inmate. Currently, his practice areas include appellate proceedings, complex commercial and real estate litigation, contract and business litigation, landlord-tenant representation, professional negligence, employment and school law.
